I just tried making an account a few hours ago, and it's not longer active. So I tried making another account, posted a few comments, and then I got an error message and could no longer post so I tried to view the profile from my main and it said that the account has been susp...d.

You can.

With new accounts you have to go slow on posting and commenting and now that you have shadow banned accounts you have to go even slower to have any chance to keep the account.

With other banned accounts I would suggest not posting or commenting until you are 7 days old, beyond r/newtoreddit[1] or r/help[2]. After that start ramping up slowly to get fully active.

Right now and for the first week you SHOULD scroll feeds and subreddits. Vote on some things. Add or drop subreddits as normal. This will help convince the admin bot you are a human.

This is not a guarantee but it is my advice for best chance to make it without getting banned.

If any of those other accounts still exist, fill out the bottom portion of this form for each one.

Huh I didn't know that. Probably because bot abuse. This is going to be trouble for people who need a throwaway account for advice :/

Creating new accounts after the old one gets suspended will trigger the bot. However, you can create any number of accounts as long as you don’t violate Reddit’s policies.

Sometimes a new account gets caught in the spam filter and there is no coming back from it. Log in on desktop and try and go to your reddit profile, if you get an error, your account has actually been suspended by reddit. Nuke the account. It’s not coming back.

When you make a new account, always know which subs you can and can’t post in as a new user.

Anywhere that autoremoves comments will stick you in shadowban as it makes no distinction between bot inputs and normal stuff.

Convincing a bot that you aren’t a bot. Glad I’m old

I have two accounts. One is my original account under the name marcieford and the newer one they decided to call me upset jellyfish. It happened when I had to do a hard reset on my phone due to Identity theft in March of last year. So now when I post, it depends on the date of the original post and it will tell me which account I am using.

You cannot use your phone because they track the device ID.  Thats how they know. Use a PC with a vpn and mac changer.
