An even more resounding victory for Trump? US is still afraid of socialism and accusations of socialism would be actually substantive against Bernie, unlike the other Democrats. Democrats voted for Hillary by the millions of votes in difference in the primaries -- what makes you think that independents and Republicans are more accepting of far-left wing politics?
And don't give me some poll that says Bernie was more popular, because I can find you polls that say Kasich was more popular, etc -- the reason why they are so is because neither side spent time slandering Bernie and getting the hard-hitting stuff out since both Trump and Hillary wanted to get some of his votes or just some of his votes to sink into apathy, in the case of the former.
