Unfortunately it doesn't help because when I do they don't see the relevancy anyway. It is like people are intentionally avoiding everything that undermines their precious determinism. We cannot talk coherently about determinism until we face the difference between causality and determinsm; and then in turn we cannot talk about free will until we talk about determinism and yet what do I find on this sub month after month? People seem to walk away from determinism because then know theirs is some faith based opinion. So the hard determinist calls himself a hard incompatibilist so he won't have to defend determinism. When I used to try to defend theism, the agnostic atheist wanted to argue the live long day atheism without having the burden of proof defending atheism. It was atheism of the gaps.

You know it would help if you maybe talked about the difference between causality and determinism. You seem to expect me to connect the dots, but you don't feel obligated to holding yourself to the same standard that you seem to be setting for me. Politics is often about setting double standards so people can get away with injustice. You can dodge all you want. However I might get moderated for not connecting dots that should be obvious by now.
