Choices are neither determined nor random.

Only physical events are determined. Choices *determine* physical events.

Deliberate choice is the *very opposite* of random chance.

Well, it is probably more accurate to say that choices determine at least some physical events. Choices don't determine the rise and fall of the tide or the physical maturation process of a child.

But your point is one that mildmys just ignores instead of argues against.
