This is Elena Ferrante, whom the OP mentioned. But sadly, contrary to the OP's info, a male Italian journalist doxxed her a few years ago.
I still remember the disgusting tone of the odious article he wrote to expose her identity. He really thought he was doing the world a favor. All the while knowing full well that Ferrante had said in the past that she would never write another book again if someone exposed her identity.
He was so hysterical and egotistic that he did not care that he would rob Ferrante's readers of her further work. He just wanted accolades and to pat himself on the back.
The asshole's name is Claudio Gatti, and the publications who originally ran his iNvEsTiGaTiVe jOuRnALiSm were the Italian Il Sole 24 Ore and the German Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. They all deserve to be shamed.
