I saw this post on Facebook, and I agree with how the power of words contributed to so much misogyny and sexism. These are the symptoms of patriarchy and their pathetic hatred against women.

Even the swear words people say to express their anger and some languages from other cultures have this deep-rooted sexism. They always insult us in so many ways. I hate how so many men desire to humiliate women and these "not all men" or "good men" not once stopped this shit. They knew how they benefitted from the bad behaviors of other men, as they got to play the "hero" or the "white knight" to these "damsels in distress" and act so entitled as if we owe them anything. They felt so good that the barest minimum of a decent human being was already being praised just because the bar is so low for them.

They only see us as incubators, alternative therapists, bangmaids, cooks, barbara the builder, trophy, object, subhuman, and all these derogatory things.

When they are angry or want to insult someone, they shouted a "motherfucker," "son of a bitch," "pussy," "sissy," "wimp," etc.

They see women as weak and only good for decorations.

If you have standards, you are a "bitch" and a "gold-digger."

If you express your sensuality and are in tune with your sexuality, you are a "slut," a "whore," a "cougar," and a "cunt."

If you choose your peace and freedom, you are just a "crazy cat lady who will be lonely forever."

If you fought for your right as a woman, you are "too opinionated," "too emotional," and a "feminazi."

If you are pretty, you are a potential "trophy wife," some "dumb bimbo," and just some "chick" they think belonged to the street. Even blondes are portrayed as "dumb blonde" in movies.

If you are assertive and know what you want, you are being too "bossy", a "catty" woman, and a "know-it-all girl."

If you gain weight and get old, you are already "used", and your time is up.

I don't really understand how so many women still have this "pick me" mentality when it is so obvious how society is set against them. You will never win by submitting to the perpetrator. You will never win by going against your fellow women when both of you are victims of patriarchy. Even the religion, culture, economy, and politics are set against you.

It is time we take control of ourselves and not let them define and degrade us.

We are the creator, the gatekeeper, the nurturer, the producer, and the protector. Having a pussy does not make a human weak, but the greatest strength of mankind.

What's worth pointing out is that even insults that are aimed at men are still somehow more insulting to women than the man himself. For example, when a man is called "son of a bitch" it's his mother being insulted, not the man. I refuse to use terms like this out of principle.

Reminds me of Andrea D’s writings on how men name women
