I am interested in shopping at Fae's cabinet in FW, specifically their bones. However, I'm concerned about their ethics and if they're ethically sourced. Are the vendors held to any standards for their sourcing?

Would anyone happen to have any insight on this? Their insta did not have anything to my knowledge and neither did the website (now, granted I skimmed, I could've missed something)

Yes they are. Travis is open about it. I would recommend speaking with them.

I have a friend who has done things with bones, but the way I understand it is people will usually source them by going into the woods and collecting from already dead animals.

I met one vendor at the Nightmare on Berry street and she said all ger crafts uses 3D printed bones.

Sadly I don't remember he name but at least one person in there is doing it right!

It was a while back when they got one of the skulls they openly discussed it on their FB page about how human bones are legal, and how it’s sourced. If you go in they are pretty willing to talk about any of their items.

The team at Fae’s is extremely open to chatting about all their products and do their best to source everything ethically. If you’re curious about a specific items backstory, just ask!
