You definitely don't know scripture. Why did those things happen? Sin! In the case of Job, God let Satan rule over him but wasn't allowed to touch Job. I suggest you read it again, preferably in the presence of true Christians. Man allowed himself to sin, God prepared a plan before the foundations of the earth was formed in sending his Son to die in yours and everyone who accepts that free gift. God is love. God is kind, God is righteous.
