This is going on in other places too! China has installed more solar systems last year *than the rest of the world combined!* China modified the height of their solar panels so that animals can graze and use the shade underneath the panels.

That "brainstorm" has resulted in deliberate policies and the reclamation turning large swaths of "desert" into semi-arid areas with some plants now growing.
