Interesting question, but you are indeed mistaken. The Serbian Orthodox Church is only one of the 17 autocephalous Eastern Orthodox churches. For example, there is also Russian Orthodox, Greek Orthodox and so on and so forth. They all believe in the same thing, I don’t want to go too far as this is not the right place. Anyway, they differ mainly in the language in which the liturgy is held and in the history. As someone who was not born in a country that is originally Orthodox, I cannot join an Orthodox church from my country. Since Orthodoxy or God is not bound to nationalities, Orthodox Christians that are not from orthodox countries choose the church whose language/history they can identify with the most. Ultimately, it doesn’t matter whether someone is Serbian, Greek or Russian Orthodox. Orthodox is orthodox.

No, there are non-Serbians at Serbian Orthodox churches. There's not a ton of Ortho churches so sometimes Serbian is your only/best option. It does make some parts of the service hard to follow as half the liturgy can be in Serbian. I'm not Orthodox but I have many Orthodox friends.
