About time.
Let's face it, if you want to attract top quality academics you need to move away from being purely Greek speaking.
Also having English language courses/subjects will improve student exchange and cooperation with other universities.
However the danger is that because non-greek places will be fee paying, there is the incentive to dumb down courses and entry requirements because it will be a fairly big revenue stream.
