So, he’s partially right and mostly wrong. The Air Force DID, in fact, spend $1,280 per coffee cup on a total of approximately 400 large cups. That’s where his accuracy ends.

Oh, and the best part:

This wasn’t discovered by DOGE and Elon had absolutely nothing to do with it. The purchase happened in 2016, and came to light in 2018 with CNN and other news outlets reporting on it as early as October 18 of that year. The only reason it even became an issue is because the handles were faulty, requiring the mugs to need to be replaced. In the end, it was decided to just have replacement handles 3D printed for 50 cents each instead of buying whole new mugs. Turns out the existing system was successfully able to bring waste to light and implement options to correct it just fine.

How this is somehow suddenly a mark of success or win for Elon/DOGE nearly 10 years after everything went down remains a mystery.

Elon musk is collecting social security information, Medicare information etc from federal agencies. He is the very definition of bureaucracy that he claims to fight against. Do not defend anything he does, cause his fight will never be for anyone but himself..

Brings back memories from my childhood in the 90s where my dad was talking about $10,000 dollar hammers. Was that just a dream or did that really happen?

You don't actually think they spend $20,000 on a hammer, $30,000 on a toilet seat, do you?

Bro. Don’t believe everything you read. Cuz that looks like note pad and Elon doesn’t talk like that. Nor is there anything to prove this is true. Yet you believed it?

If true that extra markup is going to black ops. He’s going to piss the wrong person off. Then it will be bye bye the hard way.

I’m sure they are doing some good stuff, but it’s all pretty scary….the oligarchy stuff and all. Hopefully we come out of this in better shape than when we went in.

If they stopped money laundering they’d have sister Money for infrastructure and they don’t want that.
