I live in an apartment where I presume it would be frowned upon to use any sort of loud tools (just a sneaking suspicion, no hard evidence) but I’ve been feeling the urge to build a go kart to help distract myself from the mundane epidemic of monotony that my life has become. I have a welder that I’ve never used, the overall idea, and financial irresponsibility. Would anyone, with the garage space, care to build a go kart with me? You might be saying to yourself, “why? what would I get out of this, I’m not building a random go kart with some 26 year old guy from Reddit that probably has never worked on a vehicle in his entire life. I don’t even know why I read this far into the post.” And, while it’s a fair assessment, I offer you a counterpoint of, “why not”, and additionally, “it would be cool”.

You know, I might actually be interested in this. I've got shop space, tools and yard space. Got any qualms about kids "helping"?
Gonna have to be some neutral site introduction and basic being first obviously

If you don't find anyone willing, you might be able to at the MACC Lab[1], or the Tuning Spot[2]. Or if you're good enough at math, go for an engineering degree and join the Mizzou FSAE[3] club.
