I don't think anyone in that thread understands what SRS is, what it does, or the fact that it is tiny. FPH had over 150k subscribers.

I'm kinda sad that FatPeopleHate is gone. Not that I liked the content or the posters, more that I liked that it showed the true, shitty face of Reddit that everybody deserves to see.

How about the admins treat us like adults instead of like idiots?
Because you guys act like idiots, that thread being all the proof you need. Sometimes, I have to wonder if these people are really serious about the shit they throw everywhere. The people championing free speech defending a subreddit that immediately banned anyone for not toeing the line. The people who regularly say "aww, did someone's feels get hurt" throwing a temper tantrum like a fucking child because mommy took their toys away. The people whining about SRS when there is absolutely zero evidence that large-scale brigading takes place there. Everything posted in SRS usually ends up with way more upvotes than when it was originally linked to SRS, and people call it a brigade? They have to be kidding. The only thing I agree with these turds on is that more subs should have been banned, but I'm sure if subs like /r/coontown were banned, they'd complain, too.

How about /r/shitredditsays?
hehehe
At least subreddits like /r/bestof and /r/subredditdrama use the np. no participation links so their fans probably won't engage in vote manipulation.

I remember when Digg went down this road
Do none of these people remember the actual reason for the digg migration? It had nothing in common with this lol

I can't believe that people are complaining that a sub with the sole intention of being hateful and shitty is gone.
Take off the redditor glasses for a sec and realize how stupid you look. This is more than just freeze peach on a website, these people were harassing and doxxing others off the website and off the internet.

At the exact moment that thread was posted I was explaining the internet to my 11 year old and her face when she said "*everyone* can read what I put in the internet" "Yes" "does that include YouTube""yes""*EVEN YOU?!*" "why yes" is exactly how I picture how these kids looked when they found fph was gone.

What's hilarious is people are complaining that FPH got banned but not coontown, but in the same breath saying that it's worse to be racist than prejudice against fat people rather than be happy about one sub being banned and then reporting the next sub for future banning. Seems more like they're crying they don't have a place to hate fat people anymore, I would have loved to see how they would react if coontown had been banned at the same time.

What did all these goons who say stuff like "FPH was the kick in the pants I needed to lose 25 lbs" think when FPH would post pics of fat people on treadmills or lifting weights? Seems kind of counterintuitive.
