I’m a guy with big, poofy curly hair. I’m wanting to change up my look (admittedly for better luck with dating) and I’m looking to go from this big head of hair to a sort of fade haircut. Anyone have any good barber recommendations that are good with curly hair?

If you want a fade and you want it short on top you don’t necessarily need someone good at cutting curly hair and I would go to Clifton Barbers. If you want to keep your hair up top and fade the sides I would not go to Clifton Barbers, they chop mine every time.

I'm in the Florence area and just last week I had one of the best curly haircuts I've had in years. I gave up going to a barber and went to a salon, thinking they'd be used to styling curly hair. I've gotten so many compliments. Kayla at Blush Salon. And the barber I had been going to for years cost me $50 after tip. Kayla was $32! I'll absolutely be going back.
