During hearings by the UN Commission of Inquiry on Palestine on 11 March 2025, Kifeya Khraim, International Advocacy Officer at the Women's Centre for Legal Aid and Counseling, and Witness 3, a Women Human Rights Defender, testified about sexual violence by Israeli forces and settlers. Women in Hebron reported that at certain checkpoints, soldiers deliberately expose themselves. One university student recounted how a soldier positioned himself in a blind spot, exposed himself, and ordered her in Arabic to come closer and touch him. Another case in Jerusalem involved a 14-year-old schoolgirl who was molested by soldiers under the pretense of a security search.

How’d that penalization and jailing work out for those IDF soldiers who raped that defenseless man already in their custody? I recall people rioting when there was an attempt to discipline them. Open discussion in their parliament about when it’s ok to rape defenseless captives. That’s the people/state you think will carry out jailing and penalization of their soldiers?

Unfortunately every country has shitty people, and it's especially prevalent in militaries and police where they hold a certain power over over others.
Unfortunately Israel is no different, but if properly reported to Israeli authorities, it will be investigated and those soldiers will be heavily penalized if not jailed.
Just saying a specific checkpoint says nothing, because they can't punish a checkpoint, they can only punish specific soldiers on call. If there's a blind spot, then they will be able to report when they exited frame. And if they truly said to look and touch them in Arabic or any language, that would be recorded as well.
