I mean, during World War II my two grandfathers in the US were drafted at age 18 to fight abroad in Asia and Europe respectively.
If the US were actually being invaded like Ukraine is, we’d 100% be drafting 18 year old males (and I’ve had to register for the draft in the US since I turned 18).
