You have to go to preferences and scroll way down to "privacy options." There's a new box for "let other users see my online status." Make sure it's unchecked. I'm very sorry to hear you're being stalked and harassed. This change is not just an invasion of privacy, but poses a serious concern for people in your position. Let's hope they do away with this.
