We don't have a dedicated all-nsfw listing right now, but we do have an a link that I like to think of as "risky click of the year" that's been in place for a very long time indeed. Here you go: r/randnsfw

Are there internal statistics for people accessing that? I'd love to see if there are any trends. I've seen that reddit and pornhub have the same inverse trend with amazon[1], where people are staying up late but they aren't shopping

Yet you are removing r/some from r/all . I do agree with the reasoning, but this was for me also part of the charm. I want to opt out/opt in and not have something removed completely.

Actually, I'm more irked by the fact that you try to shape your userbase, where Reddit was more of a community platform. I'm not yet all about "IPO's slippery slope" here, but... Consider leaving r/all functionality under different stream or create /r/Allnsfw

Besides, why do you think that's a good idea overall? r/popular is not so popular?

But that doesn't get you what's upvoted most, just one random. This is a real crappy move - specifically, the fact there hasn't been a nsfw-included or nsfw-free created. This is a simple taking away. Just a unilateral major change based on a vocal minority complaining. No vote, no democratic process. When did complainers start getting their way without any general discussion, polling, etc? Highly damaging trend, and I'm not just talking about this site on that part.

It'd be great if you worked out the filtering *first*, then there wouldn't be an issue and you could make no-nsfw the default and nsfw optional for /r/all. It's difficult to have faith in a future filter when the site is the age it is and still a simple search is ineffective.

That's not what we want. Let us opt back in to porn on /r/all, or let us have an nsfw /r/all. You really want to tumblr yourself?

If possible could we get a broader NSFW identification system. Eg gore, porn, etc each having an easily identifiable logo or color? Ive seen quite a few communities wanting this for awhile.

My only problem with that is you get gay stuff a lot. IMO there should be a filter for that sort of thing.

Can we have a resolution to this before implementing that?

Let me ask you the simple question - Why?

It is not like that would cost considerable amount of time or resources, as far as I would be aware.

Nothing like clicking a link and finding something you have absolutely no interest in, like a giant set of balls, and killing the mood. Will there be a feature in the future where we will be able to browse reddit and explore new nsfw communities/ subreddits similar to filtering away all non NSFW stuff on the front page previously? /r/NSFW is insanely Vanilla.

I don't want a risky click of the year, I want a thing where I click on it and then it lets me know what new smut is popular around here. what even is the point of this site anymore?

Why? Say something, engage with your community, answer people's questions.

This is already enabled by using the RES. It has a NSFW button built in. You can make it all NSFW, or all SFW. Not sure why you are pre-filtering what people see on the frontpage, when a 3rd party APP found a easier solution already.

Yes that is why people have been asking for it. In the past randnsfw seemed like a fun alternative to stumbleupon’s similar features except it has taken me to picsofdeadkids and c**ntown.

How can Reddit say they don't want to pull a Tumblr when this is exactly what it is pulling... God damm I hate it that every popular community has to monetized and turned into a boring shit fucking corporate piece of crap. Such a pity I really have enjoyed Reddit over the last few years... Time for Reddit to join the corporate waste lands of Digg and Tumblr....

WTF is this. If you are filtering NSFW out, than you clearly have an actual list of NSFW material which you are filtering. Just make a r/all_NSFW so people can access it.
