This issue was reported a few months ago but hasn’t been fixed yet.

Description: on www.reddit when trying to add a removal reason to a comment on a post that has already been removed by mods or deleted by OP, the pull down menu doesn't show any removal reasons to choose from and the button for sending a removal message through modmail is missing. This may or may not be related to the error you sometimes get on new.reddit that states there are no removal reasons set up

Platform and version: all of them :) macOS Safari, IpadOS 18.1.1 safari, macOS, Chrome, Firefox

Steps to reproduce: Find a comment in the mod queue on a post that has already been removed, try to add a removal message to the comment through www.reddit. Note, if you navigate to the comment on the post on new.reddit, it works as expected and you can add a removal reason.

Expected functionality: Regardless whether a post is removed or not, it should be possible to remove a comment with a removal message like you can on new.reddit
