A transformer fell and lit a tree on fire on 32nd St. The fire is out.

North boulder our bedrooms and bathrooms lost power but not the living room/kitchen. Very weird for it to be half out

Did anyone else hear an eerie sound while the lights were flickering before power was cut? We were watching a sci fi movie and thought it was part of the soundtrack at first lol…curious what makes that sound. ETA: we’re pretty close to 32nd st where someone said a tree fell on a transformer so maybe that was a factor

Power is starting to come back in South Boulder. Honestly though, can they just leave it off until the wind calms down?
