Redditors from Union Square, Somerville please assemble.

Union Square doesn't get much love due to the lack of T access - whether it's friends refusing to meetup here or being a deterrent to reddit board games night.

This came up a bit on a previous thread[1]. I figured at least Union Sq., residents might be down to hang out here once in a while - whether it's grabbing a beer, tossing a ball or playing some board games on a rainy evening like today. What do you think?

Wow! Quite a response. I was hoping to get together soon but looks like the r/Boston meetup is finally happening tomorrow. So go ahead and let me know what you are interested in & I'll schedule something nextweek. Survey here[2].

I'll be living out there with two others, but not until late December. Just recently found an awesome place right by Union Square, and I can't wait to move. I was worried about the lack of T accessibility, but it's not too bad to walk or take the 80/88 to Lechmere.

hello from around the corner of Highland Kitchen. That's close enough to union as far as I'm concerned. Always up for a beer or a bike ride, or both.

Yeah I'll join in any merriment that gets thrown together. Give me a time and a place and I'll be there (if I'm not working, studying, or at school).

the 87 bus goes straight to the heart of union square. goes from clarendon hill/arlington center through davis square to union square. i've been meaning to explore the bars there, as well as ricky's flower market, because my basil died in the heat :(

if you're in Brighton, like me, 86 goes right to Union (Kingmen Road) and there's a lot of really awesome places in that area alone (Indo bar, AEC bike shop, Shermans cafe, Block 11 etc etc, Reliable Market..I could really just go on) A meetup should definitely happen!

While walking from Union Sq to Porter at 2am on Saturday morning I lost my green t shirt. If you see it, read what it says, it'll make you laugh.
