I have a big arachnophobia fear of these fuckin crabs. Not the actual design of them, but the fact of them jumping onto you.
I am wondering if anyone has made a mod that just has them walking towards you and just deal damage instead, rather than trying to jump onto you. I really don't want to delete them as an enemy, as it will leave the game quite bland and have no alternatives.

What I use to deal with that is go on max slomo once they jump then magdump them

It might help if you get one of those mods to make them into boxes, they would still jump to you but it is less like a spider

I find it super fun to blast them into not my problem land with a shotgun or skewer them with a sword when they jump at me. Try to find ways to enjoy it and maybe retrain your brain.

Modders might be able to do something for you but other than that your best move is to use the trashcan lid I think
