It would also be great to have the choice to block just the comments pages from a subreddit (including all self posts, through direct access or crossposts from other subreddits), but keep access to its submission listings (aggregated views and the actual subreddit page) and click-through links. So you can subscribe to those subreddits that actually have interesting submissions but terrible users.

I use boost for reddit and it has a filter option. Not sure about actual reddit having that though.
