Soooo I've got myself a Hyosung gv650S Aquila pro, bought it with 360km on her, basically brand new. I thought all gv650 models were LAMS approved in Australia... turns out the gv650S is not.. so I though, fark it, why not slap a turbo on it I'm already not allowed to ride it...
(I have a gv250 that I can ride)
I couldn't pass up an genuine 360km odo 2016 model for $5k AUD!
It's a V-twin 650cc dual overhead cam, 4v/cylinder, 11.5:1 compression, 75hp. Aiming for ~150hp
I'll be doing all the work myself, I'm a qualified fitter&turner so making it up and fitting it isn't gunna be a problem. I'll need to get it tuned though, luckily it has a tunable Delphi ecu.
So my real question(s) here are, what size turbo, how to calculate, air2air or water2air intercooler?? And will the turbo (pictured) I already have lying around work?
Any input to help make it a slightly stealthy setup is appreciated too 😊 had the idea of hiding it behind a fake saddle bag shell...

I am not sure that upping the horsepower on something of extremely questionable quality is a good idea, at the same time, let me know how it works out.

A TD04 13t will work perfectly. Aim for about 6-8psi and you'll be laughing the whole way. Will need bigger injectors and at least a power commander. Good luck!
