Upper deck use to have something similar with their Diamond Club. It wasn’t a purchase for a single event, but more spend that amount in a year with your LCS and they nominate you.
Got to meet Tony Romo, Shaq, Gretzky, Ovechkin and a few others at private dinners / gatherings. Met Richard McWilliams before he passed and he signed the back of a card for everyone that was made for the event. They would send cool cards every year that were exclusive and if you went to the national were invited to some cool UD sponsored things.
