Your position is selfish. It makes you feel better to piss off religious people. I know because sometimes I do the same thing. I don't doubt that you care, but if you truly care then you have to think about the best way to change people's minds and you even admit that sometimes you just reinforce their faith with your arguments. It's ok to piss off religious people, in fact I take great pleasure in it, but let's not pretend like we're doing it for their benefit. If you really want to change minds and put others first you have to learn to do this in a way that isn't militant. I haven't figured it out yet either, so good luck.
