First time trying to capture details on the Moon up close. Decided to try the mountains, while the terminator is near them and they still cast some shadows. Just managed to capture a couple videos before the clouds rolled in, so not sure I'll get more chances tonight.
The main focus of the frame are Montes Apenninus stretching from lower left corner to the center of the image, which also includes the landing site of Apollo 15. Above them in top center lie Montes Caucasus and left of those are Montes Alpes. Also visible are several craters, including Eratosthenes in the lower left corner, Archimedes at center left and Aristillus to the upper right from it. Below Archimedes also lie more mountains that share the crater's name, Montes Archimedes.
