Thanks! That’s not too bad I was expecting somewhere closer to $10K. Also what part of Washington were you in? I love the PNW, I try to go there at least once a year and go hiking around one of the mountains. I went last year and found out the St Helen’s was giving off tremors and caused a landslide that closed part of 504 so we couldn’t get to a lot of the trails. Still had an amazing time though.

My main telescope is a bit over $10k all included. I’ve got a few different setups so I can image a wide variety of targets. I actually find this wide angle landscape stuff more challenging than the deep space stuff.

I’m south of Seattle in the Puyallup area so I’m about an hour and a half from Rainier. During the summer I’m in that park 2-3 times a week when it’s nice.
