That's good. It is very hard to say anything intelligent about your experience from a couple of lines of text, so I was referring to my own experiences in this country which of course might differ quite a bit from yours. By the way, my problem with the way I have seen Marx taught is not that professors are unsympathetic to his views or his arguments are unfairly criticized, on the contrary they are quite rightly criticized. It has more to do with the framework they are presented within, unless you are a Marx scholar, you will most likely never see Marx in any other context than as a criticism of capitalism, and that is a shame I think.
