Hello! I'm a 16 y/o Ukrainian boy with a serious problem arising soon: me being conscripted into military when I would turn 18. Sadly, my health is perfect in every regard, so avoiding conscription this way won't be possible. Going to a university won't be a good option either, as you don't study there to 27 years. Money isn't a problem for me, but I don't know to who I should bribe for that, and prison sentences for that are very long. The alternative service is a good option, but it's available only to people who are attenders of specific religious organizations, not just atheistic ideological deniers, like me. The only good option I see is just killing myself. So does anyone know other ways to avoid being conscripted into Ukrainian army?

Besides not being a citizen of Ukraine, as an American on a subreddit geared toward the United States Army, I can't think of any.

You’re literally in a situation where an enemy nation is moving to invade your country, and subjugate it’s people. Like no shit, real “freedom is at stake” kind of a thing. Just about the most clear cut case of Right vs Wrong/ good vs evil that you’re going to get.

Listen buddy, your country is about to get invaded so you might as well protect your friends and family and countryman…. Don’t run away like the ANA, otherwise women will be raped, men tortured, children abused, gulag camps, etc….
