I would pay good money for someone to give a nice speech about Samarkand Pl, a city in Uzbekistan. reread what I wrote up there, and read it again. If your only problem is the specific Armenian name they chose, then read my second comment
I dont care who hates me in Glendale. I know TONS of people who love Armenians. I'm not in the business of pleasing everyone. Stop worrying about what other people might think. It makes sense if the entire city is Armenian.
And if racism is inevitable like you just said, why should we not change one street name to Artsakh? Racism is inevitable after all.

Read it, not going to read it again. Because you're so hardcore in love with everything Armenian, we have no choice but to accept it. Or else your feelings would be so hurt if we didn't have another street named after Armenians. Because if you don't have a street named after some Armenian place or person, well then you feel left out. How about picking a freaking name that people can pronounce and move on. Save the inspirational speeches for your Pashinyan marches.
