View submission: What are the reasons millions of undocumented immigrants were allowed in the US? I don't recall ever hearing the most obvious reasons by politicians.

Um, that data includes a lot of people who were not admitted to the country. It also includes people who presented themselves at a legal port of entry (which includes people arriving by car) so it doesn't actually refute my claim that the majority of people who are actually here didn't walk across the border. If border patrol didn't do their job and let every single person in, you would be correct.
