View submission: What are the reasons millions of undocumented immigrants were allowed in the US? I don't recall ever hearing the most obvious reasons by politicians.

I grew up deeply involved in the Catholic Church and as soon as I was 18 I never went back. I constantly witnessed the most "pious" people do the most un-Christlike things all-the-fucking-time.
