View submission: What are the reasons millions of undocumented immigrants were allowed in the US? I don't recall ever hearing the most obvious reasons by politicians.

sure, but you can't sustain an open border policy where after 10 years you become a citizen either....

we are ALL immigrants or descendants of immigrants, even the tang man; there are finite resources...is there a right way to do this? I wish there was but it is a complicated issue.
