I do not like increasing corporatism, but also don’t see “very much about the money” as necessarily bad - reddit can’t run at a loss without money coming in *somehow* to plug the gap, and losing money won’t keep a company/site alive forever.
Hope the newsecretsanta works though! Will be following it closely.
