View submission: Update to Our Content Policy
Because some people there have very subjective opinions. Though I am not a very political person, I enjoy /r/PoliticalCompassMemes. For me, it seems like the only place on Reddit where you can interact with people with all kinds of different opinions/beliefs in a civilized and often humorous way. But there are people in /r/againsthatesubreddits who want to ban this community; which, in my opinion, is because many cant tolerate people with different ideas and are quick to dismiss other ideas as hate speech.

r/PoliticalCompassMemes was the best subreddit on this site. Literally Leftists and Rightists coming together and joking about their ideologies and poking fun at eachother without retaliation.

AHS should be renamed to r/buzzkill. They literally cannot tolerate any opinions that are *remotely* different, and seeing people on PCM with all different views making jokes together drives them mad.
Edit: Posting this comment has shown me that r/buzzkill is already a thing. Looks like they’ll have to get creative.

r/AgainstHateSubreddits should be one of the banned subreddits. They are known for brigading subs and not following the rules at all.

This is the exact reason I love this sub. If more subs were like this, people of different ideologies could actually discuss things instead of instantly starting an argument that's "my side" vs "your side" when you should literally be allowed to pick a fucking side without someone censoring you.
