When the Soleimani thing was going on a few months ago there were multiple threads on CTH where people were openly discussing tactics and strategy, at a fairly specific level, for sabotaging U.S. manufacturing in the event of a war with Iran.
Setting aside the issue of whether choosing Iran's side in the hypothetical war was actually bad politics, the stuff I saw was borderline actually criminal. Like, inches away from catching you a conspiracy charge if the wrong AUSA saw it on a slow afternoon at the office. Obviously you guys were LARPing, but if your mods are dumb enough to let you post that stuff publicly on a major American website you gotta be ready to accept your ban gracefully.

Lmao so you're saying actively siding against the US in a potential war and working against them is somehow calling for violence and not acceptable whilst being pro war against Iran that would probably kill millions of Arabs is the only acceptable position. Are you aware how batshit you are?

it was rule-breaking open season once admins made no attempt to communite with CTH mods about what constituted rule-breaking and what didnt. they tried and admins ignored their messages. so whine about international politics all you want, but by that point, every user was convinced that it was only a matter of time that reddit admins banned the sub because it literally could have been for any reason at all since they werent giving mods any specific reasons.
