Place was basically a white canvas that any user could interact with. Users could select any pixel on the canvas and change it to the colour of their choice, with a 5 minute(?) cooldown. Initially there was chaos, random colours, vague dick drawings etc. But eventually communities and subreddits banded together to make their own drawings, logos and flags.
