/r/thebutton was the April Fools thing 3 years ago. It was a timer that ticked down from 60 seconds, and anyone that pressed the button reset the timer back to 60 seconds. However, you only got one press, and you received a flair that represented how much time was left when you pressed the button. People were trying to become the first to the 50 second club, the 40 second club, the 30 second club, etc. However, us "no pressers" resisted the urge to press the button even as we watched the timer tick to zero 2 months later.
