if its a gen ed, could you replace it with a different summer semester gen ed? What's gone wrong this semester and why do you think you won't pass?

So it’s a pretty bare bones class by way of what he grades: only a handful of tests, a few online quizzes and a writing assignment. You’re practically guaranteed 100% on everything but the tests.

Two of the tests are basically him showing you a painting and you have to be able to tell from a selection of 8 options who the painter is. And this is from a period from 1700-now. Class is him going over a specific painting from each painter and some small details about their lives. But the exam is a random painting and you’re supposed to have identified the style of the artist somehow compared to the 40-50 painters he has gone over.

And then there’s the music portion, same idea except he has musical selections from composers. Will play a random part of a composition for 30 seconds and you have to identify the composer from a list of 5 composers and then the name of the composition from a list of 8.

Anyways, it’s not like any of my science courses where you can either brute-force the subject matter or practice consistently to learn a skill....

Well you can sort of, it’s just such a completely different skill set than anything I’ve ever had to do before.
