Everyone's going on about Donald and dota but soccer is the real odd one out there.

a post from /r/politics is #1 on /r/popular right now
edit: i said this because he listed /r/politics as a subreddit that was not included. he's updated since then. this isn't a complaint. save your breath if you're commenting as a salty, fascist T_D-ite. I'd piss in all of your mouths if I could, you human air-sick bags
edit edit: keep em coming, neo-nazi tears are the key to any truly productive day. see you guys on /r/subredditdrama, probably
edit edit edit: apparently the T_D bullshit brigade is out in full force. I said DONT respond if you're nazi filth guys. A+ for effort tho. I'm not talking shit because you have different opinions, it's because you have a specific, highly oppressive opinion. Don't get it twisted, you incestuous flea-havens c': I'm not sorry for hurting your feelings

Sad to see /r/soccer on that list. I would say that probably lowers Reddit's appeal internationally.

This is a good thing for everyone. I'm sick of the amount of political propaganda on this site, from both sides... Enough.

Why /r/overwatch, /r/dota2, /r/leagueoflegends and /r/globaloffensive?
**Edit:** /r/politics is indeed included!

I'm surprised that antifeminist subs TumblrInAction and PussyPassDenied aren't filtered, and similarly the communist sub LateStageCapitalism is there too. RickAndMorty also seems like it should be too narrow. I guess I'm unclear on how popular is filtered, and I think my list of 100 filtered does a better job for me.

The admins finally did it. It was only a matter of time until we saw those fucking cucks go full censorship on Reddit's most controversial community, /r/soccer. We will prevail though! You can't censor real life!

But the biased /r/politics subreddit and the million "anti-trump" spam subreddits aren't either. /r/Popular is more like "Approved news".

As a software developer, this whole "a handful of subreddits that users consistently filter out" approach sure looks like they searched very hard for the right "neutral algorithm" so they can deflect the blame from what was, at its heart, a manual editorial decision. In the end, just like the current downvoting of minority opinions, to filter what many filter is just another echo chamber amplification so that everyone can continue to live in their own reality, cognitive dissonance be damned. I wanna see a Black Mirror episode on this one day...

there are many subs in that list that make me think "lolwut?" because I've never seen the sub on /r/all. and some that only made it once in the past 2 years to /r/all.
no idea why so many users filter those subs, but more than half of those mentioned subs don't make it to /r/all consistently to need filtering.

at first I was a little bummed r/trees is banned, but that sub is all too predictable now. posting rules are so strict and regulated that it's the same shit to reach the front page every single day: a picture of a joint, someone's new grinder, some shitty self-post humor. it got real stale, real quick

That list isn't accurate to the current /r/popular. /r/BlackPeopleTwitter is present. The only thing different in the top 25 is one post from /r/SandersForPresident actually. I expect this might separate once the frontpage has been different long enough, but for now it seems off.

EnoughTrumpSpam is the sacrificial lamb to justify filtering out T_D. What about the other umpteen different anti-Trump subs?
What about apolitical subs like /r/pics, and /r/bestof, which are just used as anti-Trump soapboxes now?

Fucking disgusting. Filter /r/politics
I don't care about T_d being filtered but at least balance it out. /r/Politics is a leftist wingewall. Anything pro-trump is obliterated. Show some fucking manners and respect your president.

I'm confused, I'm seeing posts from the Donald trees and NSFW sub reddits, I thought these weren't to be seen?
Edit: is that filter only for people not logged in? So being that I'm logged in I see everything?

/r/marchagainsttrump /r/politics /r/latestagecapitalism /r/fuckthealtright
Basically anything related to current politics or economics. No one but the subscribers of those subs care about it.

Why even bother filtering r/enoughtrumpspam when you have 100 other clones of that subreddit regurgitating the same content and getting the same amount of upvotes from all the same users?

Just a heads up, that list from last week is totally outdated since I know a few of those subreddits are now on /r/Popular. Both /r/SquaredCircle and /r/blackpeopletwitter are on it.
