Due to various shenanigans and low effort content we stopped giving Karma for text-posts over 8 years ago.
Why do you think this will be different now?

It's hilarious. The Reddit community has gotten so much worse in the last 8 years. Just look at what happens when a sub is made default. That line is total BS
