This reminds me of that Amy Schumer sketch, "I'm sorry", where the men let all the women take blame for something they haven't actually done, while the men, who actually have something to apologize for, just say nothing or just "Whoops".

Did everyone assume Ellen Pao fired Victoria? Honestly, I assumed it one of the operation people. It didn't strike me as a CEO responsibility from the start.
