The point is we're here for the funny one liners, we're here for the trailers, we're here for the art, the stories, the analysis of a sports play, the news. Low effort or not.

And it's the Mods that largely make subs bearable for whatever purpose I use them for and what the content creators use them for.

To the end user and content creators the site is largely replaceable. We will all go where it's easiest.

Don't confuse this with the Reactionary/SJW drama, this isn't some moral stand, this is just a question of functionality and what can actually hurt Reddit's traffic, not people's feelings.

It's totally hyperbolic though, a single wave of Mods doesn't have that kind of power, but a general lack of support for mods does.
