Well, OctaMED SS, apart from usual 8-bit parport, *is* supposed to support all of Aura, Toccata, MaestroPro and Delfina 16-bit cards including for sample digitizing, not just Aura. Unfortunately it's not actually AHI though (so it won't support soundcards that didn't exist at the time, well, unless deliberately compatible at a hw level, or like UAE's toccata emulation etc.)

(by which they may mean only the zorro bus Delfinas though, the clockport Delfina was pretty late, I'm not sure if OctaMED SS worked directly on those, kind of depends how it was implemented - if it opened some delfina driver that hid the difference, say)

I'm aware the new Amiga OctaMED v8 (post-SSv1, that was effectively v7) resurrection supposedly adds full AHI support among other things - v8 *may* thus work with any AHI-supported Amiga soundcard, both in and out? Though not personally tested! Apart from anything else, I haven't seen OctaMED v8.x available separately from the fairly undesirable (to me) little A600GS[1] arm emulator box yet. Even if it was unbundled, well, to be honest I probably wouldn't personally get it, but may also be worth bearing in mind it exists now and should in principle also still run on real Amigas.
