Just need to know what I will need when it happens, I am not a resident of the U.S.A., I do have a work permit and somewhat of a I.D. I am still a minor and don’t have a big bad to stack it with a lot of things(planning on buying one) so I will know what important papers and files of me I will need to bring with me

Your ID, work permit; keeps these laminated and away from prying eyes. Look now into shelter options and organizations that can assist you.

I'm guessing English isn't your first language? What do you mean by 'not a resident of the USA'? Do you mean you live in the USA but not a citizen? Or do you mean you live in another country? What country are you a citizen of? How old are you? And why would you be kicked out as a minor?

You are going to need a ticket to your home country, because your legal status can be questioned. You don’t want to go to a detention center

You need ID, food, shelter, clothes to keep warm.

Can you get a job at a min wage job like at a grocery store? Try to learn a trade, mechanic, plumber. You need something that you can earn a living with and if you get deported it will be handy regardless where in the world you end up in.

So, you need ALL papers, and keep them safe. Make copies, school diploma, work I’d, SS card, school ID etc If you can, a safe deposit would be ideal, being under aged may be a problem with that. Do you have an adult that may help you and keep them safe for you? If not, find a place you can feel confident about.

Best of luck

Sweetheart, I don’t know your story, but I can tell you’re carrying a heavy load. Listen, when things get shaky, you hold onto what matters. Papers are power, especially yours—that work permit, any ID you’ve got, those are your anchors. Think of it like this: your life is a story, and those documents are the chapters you can’t lose. School records, medical info, they’re all part of your story. Get copies, digital if you can. And honey, a phone that works and a little cash? Those are your lifelines. Pack light, pack smart, and don’t forget, you’re stronger than you think. You’ll figure it out.

This is a very sad situation but more importantly it is a legal situation that can cause this nice young person a lot of trouble. At some point he will need to show those papers and his parents will be contacted. This is not a simple matter. If possible at all this person need to reside with one parent for 2 more years. It’s very easy for us to offer advice but we are citizens and this is not the same as we would face.

What is the situation in your homeland?

Is your life in danger if you were to return?

Take scans of your important documents and save to cloud or email them yourself. If you ever lose them you can at least access them on your email.
