Unfortunately not only in Ramadan. All year around we drink that sugary water we call juice.

These are so sweet to the point that they kind of hurt im the tounge.

The only one I would eat from these is قلب اللوز and only with a drink that is not sweet.

The sweetness is the least of its problems. You should see the way they make them... ugh!

It's a fact I used to eat them every Sahra, but last years i just eat them a couple of times during Ramadan because I like the taste and the nostalgia. I reduced sugar in my food including the non fasting months, I can't handle too much sweetness anymore

Thry are wayyyy too sweet. That's why I don't really eat them that much/ anymore. One spoon will send me into a sugar rush 😭 it's not fair we can't enjoy eating Qalb louz as we used to do.

YES THEY ARE ,  I started cutting down on them about 4 years ago and this year I decided to have none at all and i feel better than ever going 0 sugar during this month.

What blows my mind is in addition to all the sweets we eat, we add sugar to our coffee/tea and drink juices swith tons of sugar too..
