(a) **fully avail itself of Alaska’s vast lands and resources for the benefit of the Nation and the American citizens who call Alaska home;**
(b) efficiently and effectively maximize the development and production of the natural resources located on both Federal and State lands within Alaska;
(c) expedite the permitting and leasing of energy and natural resource projects in Alaska; and

It sounds as if he thinks of the people and resources of Alaska as possessions of the U.S. Government and you have no say so as to how it is used (abused).

What people don’t realize is that most of the resources and jobs for these projects are just exported to other countries and non citizens.

Here s the thing with all the natural resources. It one thing to have them it’s another to use them. “Drill baby, drill” all you want we don’t have the refining capacity to do any more than we are doing. Thats why raw oil sits in railway cars cuz they have no where to put it. We don’t have the capacity to turn our trees into any cheaper lumber so we get from Canada ready to use. All BS talk by him about how we will manufacture all this stuff here now is wrong. The infrastructure has to be created to do all of it. That’s takes years and $$$. He will be and gone by the time any of this get off the ground and by then the next man/woman coming in will reverse it all.

To the knowledge I have; isn't a very poor strategical decision to tap into your own oil/reserves? Not only does that leave you with less in the chance we need it, but the world knowing you have less of your own resources to resort it means that can increase the cost of trade because you are in an increased state of demand now?
