I've seen a lot of push for GRSM (Gender, Romantic, Sexuality minorities) in recent years as its easier and more inclusive but which would you rather be the go to?

I have no real love for LGBTQ+, but I don't really believe that GRSM, or any new alternative, fixes the issues it claims to fix. The problem is people being exclusionists, not the acronym itself, and a new acronym will not hinder exclusionists in any material way. At best, the discourse will just shift to "X identity doesn't count as a real minority."
Give me an acronym that can actually be pronounced as a word out loud, though, and that I would get behind. (RIP QUILTBAG and MOGAI.)

I prefer just queer because it includes everyone, but I realize there are people who do not like the term or find it triggering since it is a reclaimed slur... don't really have a preference on acronyms

Just LGBT. It looks and sounds the nicest and everybody knows what it is.

I'm a little wary of GRSM because when the word "Sex" is included; people will focus on only that aspect. Being Lesbian, Gay, etc., is more than just the physical act of having sex with a particular type of person. I think the G & R would get ignored entirely and people may misunderstand the Minority part - thinking it's just about having sex with Minorities.
